In 2025, total attendance at the world’s leading theme parks was essentially flat. The top 25 parks welcomed a combined 245.4 million visits compared with 245.9 million for the same parks in 2024 (-0.2%).
From a big-picture attendance standpoint, the North American theme park market changed little in 2025, but the development landscape continued to evolve. Across the region, operators
continued shifting their focus toward revenue optimization, targeted reinvestment and portfolio management. The top 20 North American parks recorded 143 million visits, an increase of 1.5%, driven largely by the opening of Universal Epic Universe with an assist from an exceptionally good year at Dollywood.
