Where the Buffalo Roam
JAMESTOWN, North Dakota – Since 1959, this 26-foot-tall, 60-ton concrete giant buffalo monument has been standing on a hill overlooking I-94, the valley and even grazing buffalo - the real kind. Named Dakota Thunder, the buffalo monument is one of the Midwest's favorite roadside attractions. During a visit to see Dakota Thunder, travelers can also visit the Frontier Village and National Buffalo Museum.
