Walking in Nature
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico - What a fun day we had exploring the 1.5+ miles of paths through formal and whimsical gardens in the 32-acre Botanic Garden at ABQ BioPark in Albuquerque. The Garden also features a 10,000 sq. ft. conservatory housing plants from the desert and Meditteranean climate zones, Bug Bend including the BUGarium, butterflies and bees, the Children's Fantasy Gardens miniature train, the Heritage Farms showcasing a typical New Mexican Ranch of the 1940s and the Specialty Garden.
The Botanic Garden is just one of the 4 museums comprising the ABQ BioPark – New Mexico's top attraction welcoming 1.5+ million visitors each year. The other parks are the zoo, aquarium and Tingley Beach. Combo tickets to the zoo, garden and aquarium are recommended and include transportation between facilities, when available.
