LOXAHATCHEE, FLORIDA - Opened in 1967, Lion Country Safari is Florida's only drive-through safari and Adventure Park, a walk-through amusement park with rides, water attractions, animal habitats and encounters. Plan to stay at least 4-5 hours to see over 1,000 animals spread across almost 600 acres, watch the animal feedings, displays plus shopping and dining. New in 2023: Lion Country celebrated the births of a lion cub in July and a Southern White Rhinoceros calf in August.
