The College Football Hall of Fame
ATLANTA, Georgia – The College Football Hall of Fame, across the street from the attractions of Centennial Olympic Park, grabs visitors’ attention with this towering lobby display of 750 football teams’ helmets. The actual hall of fame honors approximately 1,300 stellar athletes and coaches who have excelled in their chosen sport. The facility showcases the MacArthur Bowl, the quest of NCAA Division I teams. Among the participatory elements in the facility is an indoor practice field of sorts where visitors can discover how truly difficult it is to kick a field goal – even a short one and with no one rushing them. – (Photo by Tom Adkinson)
