Mountains of Majesty
LAS CRUCES, NEW MEXICO - This was taken Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025, at the foothills of the Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument just east of Las Cruces, New Mexico after the city in the southern New Mexico desert experienced one its few snow falls. The clouds broke for a few minutes and let the sun shine on the Organ Mountain peaks when I snapped this photo before they again closed the sky. Photo by Norm Dettlaff.
