Disneyland Resort Celebrates 70 Years
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA - In 1955, Walt Disney opened Disneyland Park with a hope that it would be "a source of joy and inspiration to all the world." Now, the Disneyland Resort begins its 70th Celebration with festivities that will run through summer 2026. The entire resort is adorned in bold blue, magenta and purple décor with golden accents, including an elegant medallion on the Sleeping Beauty Castle. The décor, special food and beverages and lots of jubilant entertainment have taken over Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney District and the Hotels of Disneyland Resort.
