A Rainbow of Color
CANBY, OREGON - For over 50 years, 40,000 to 50,000 people have been visiting the Swan Island Dahlias Farm each August and September for the Annual Dahlia Festival. Visitors are invited to stroll through almost 50 acres and see the rainbow of color: A garden of stunning Dahlias. The festival celebrates the season of Dahlias with 375 varieties of Dahlias, food carts, drinks, live music on Saturdays and Sundays, Sunday Farmer's Market, classes, free admission and parking and other special events. Located in the Willamette Valley about 25 miles south of Portland, Swan Island Dahlias Farm has been the largest and leading Dahlia grower in the United States for over 97 years.
